At Cakensmile, we take great pride in baking delicious, beautiful cakes that bring smiles to every celebration. Each order is freshly prepared with love and care. However, we understand that sometimes things may not go as planned. This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds or replacements may be issued.

🎂 1. Order Cancellation

• Same-day or instant orders: Once confirmed, these cannot be cancelled as preparation begins immediately.

• Advance orders: You may cancel your order at least 24 hours before the delivery/pick-up time for a full refund.

• Late cancellations: Orders cancelled within 24 hours of delivery may receive a 50% refund, as ingredients and labor are already allocated.

🍰 2. Incorrect or Damaged Items

If you receive:

• The wrong item,

• A damaged cake, or

• A cake that does not match the confirmed design or flavor,

please contact us within 2 hours of delivery or pickup with photos and your order details.
We’ll gladly offer one of the following solutions:

• A replacement cake (same size and design), or

• A full or partial refund, depending on the situation.

🧾 3. Quality Concerns

All our cakes are freshly baked and must be stored properly (refrigerated if necessary).
If you believe your cake was not up to our quality standards, please contact us within 24 hours of purchase with:

• Order number

• Description of the issue

• Clear photographs

After review, we may offer a replacement or partial refund at our discretion.

🎁 4. Non-Refundable Items

• Custom-designed cakes (personalized names, themes, or photos) are non-refundable once approved and production has started.

• Refunds will not be issued for taste preferences, color variations, or minor design differences due to handcrafting.

💳 5. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 3–7 business days via your original payment method.
For cash-on-delivery orders, store credit or a replacement may be offered instead.
